Two generations. One standard.
A 25+ year family business with 30+ years of expertise in electronics and battery repair. We sell the best chargers at the lowest prices — because we're done watching people get taken advantage of.
Why we started
ChargingChargers exists because of a simple frustration: good people were paying too much for the wrong charger, and finding out the hard way. A charger that is undersized cooks itself. One sized for the wrong chemistry ruins the battery. And a "deal" from a discounter usually means a unit with no float stage and nobody to call when it starts behaving strangely.
We are locally owned and operated in Rogue River, Oregon. Our customers keep coming back, and we're looking to expand our family — making sure we provide the best product for the best price, every time. Our lines are American made, because we're American first.
What thirty years of bench work actually gives you
Before anything ships, we test the lines we carry for voltage and amperage against the published specification. That habit comes from a working background in electronics and battery repair — rebuilding alternators, starters and generators, rewiring vehicles, and years spent around control-room power systems before this store existed.
It means we can tell the difference between a charger that failed and a battery that stopped accepting charge. Usually it is the battery, and usually it is sulphation — which is why we carry desulfators and why we will talk you out of a new charger when yours is fine.
How we work
- We test what we sell. Bench-verified voltage and amperage on every line we stock.
- Fresh stock only. Nothing used, reconditioned or rebuilt — ever.
- Distributor pricing. We buy direct and pass the savings on because our overhead is low.
- If we don't have it, we say so. If the right unit for your application is somewhere else, we will tell you what it is and where to get it.
- Quantity pricing. Fleet and commercial buyers get case pricing — ask.
What we cover
Battery chargers from 6 to 156 volts and 2 to 240 amps, pure sine inverters, DC-DC converters, solar panels and controllers, sealed AGM and gel batteries, desulfators and digital meters.
Who you'll talk to
There is no call centre. Larry has been in electronics and battery repair for 30+ years; Kyle is second generation and handles orders, fitment and sizing. One of them picks up, and if you get voicemail it is because they are on another line.
The shop is the family garage in Rogue River, converted over the years into a bench, a test station and a wall of chargers. Every unit we sell gets checked there before it ships.
